The Origin of Programming and Passion for Creation

From childhood to the present, gaming has continued to have a major impact on my life. Beyond mere entertainment, it has been an important element that motivated creative activities and programming learning.

Meeting with Games

During my study-hating childhood, games were my only joy. Through various genres such as epic stories in RPGs, exhilarating action games, and logical thinking in puzzle games, I learned many things.

"The problem-solving approach I learned from games has become the foundation of my current programming style"

Favorite Games

RPG Series

I particularly love story-rich RPGs and find character development and world-building fascinating. The process of understanding complex systems and considering optimization shares commonalities with system design thinking.

Puzzle & Strategy Series

From games requiring logical thinking and planning, I naturally acquired algorithmic thinking. The concept of achieving maximum effect with limited resources is also utilized when writing efficient programs.

Impact on Development

What I learned from games greatly influences my current AI-driven development:

  • Awareness of Usability - From intuitive game controls, I learned the importance of user-friendly UI
  • Systems Thinking - Understanding complex game systems cultivated my architecture design abilities
  • Continuous Improvement - Through game updates and balance adjustments, I realized the importance of iterative development

Current Way of Enjoying

I still enjoy games in my spare time. However, now I also enjoy them from a developer's perspective, thinking "Why is this mechanism interesting?" and "How is this implemented?"

Recently, I'm particularly focused on games utilizing AI and cases where AI is used in game development, exploring connections with my area of expertise.

I also accept consultations on game development and systems utilizing gamification!
